Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong, musty apple and pear aromas. Sour notes.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Musty and earthy notes quickly develop. Very tart. Strong oak flavours from maturation process. Mature apple flavour notes.
After Taste: Becomes smoother and sweeter. Slightly syrupy taste and sensation on the pallet that lingers. Dry finish.
On ice: Bite is reduced on ice with more foam on the top. Oak and apple notes remain the same but less sweet.

Additional Notes: Caple Rd Cider is a prime example of a UK cider export. With a unique flavour journey, it goes from tart to sweet, changing greatly from start to finish. This is a thick cider that is heavy in the mouth and it leaves a syrupy residue. Very dry overall.
