Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium to strong crisp apple smell. Some mustiness.
Initial Taste: Strong bite but smooth. Single-apple flavour. Slightly musty, bitter and earthy from fermentation process but still apple forward.
After Taste: Tangy apple flavour comes through. Becomes sweeter. Smooth, musty apple finish.
On ice: Carbonation and bite cut on ice significantly. Slightly more bitter-tasting on ice.

Additional Notes: County Apple Cider is the pinnacle of Ontario Craft hard ciders. A rustic, old-world inspired musty. County Apple is used as a base for their flavoured ciders, so to truly appreciate those, it is best to understand and appreciate the taste and characteristics of this apple cider first. Apple forward, balanced, approachable and, easy to say, the inspiration to many Ontario-based cideries.
