Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Very strong smelling cider – powerful fermentation aromas – along with astringent, musty and slightly sour.
Initial Taste: Strong tingle in the mouth immediately that remains for an extended period. Extra tart with slightly sour notes. Very musty with bitter and earthy tones. Raw apple peel flavours noticed.
After Taste: Becomes dry with tangy notes that linger. It is less tart than initially and slightly more sweet with nutmeg and pepper undertones.
On ice: Less carbonation and bite. Flavour slightly weakens but musty notes are more prominent. Much smoother to consume.

Additional Notes: A very rustic, old-world ‘European’ style cider. Strong influences from the barreling process in the flavour. You can tell that this cider is crafted with time using a slow fermenting process.
